This practical session on Meaningful Physical Education will explore how to create a comprehensive, student-centered PE curriculum that emphasizes physical literacy and lifelong health. Participants will learn about the key elements of a meaningful PE program, including the development of movement competence, physical fitness, and social-emotional learning.
During the session, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of hands-on activities and discussions, designed to promote best practices in teaching and learning. In addition, participants will discuss strategies for promoting inclusivity and diversity in PE, including how to create an environment that is welcoming to all students, regardless of their abilities, interests, or backgrounds.
