Toby is a seasoned international educator and school leader based in Shanghai, China, with over 15 years of experience driving high-quality physical education and sports programs in bilingual school settings. Currently a founding team member at HIBA Academy (Wellington College China), Toby is part of a diverse team of PE and sports educators, orchestrating school-wide initiatives across curriculum development, teacher training, and student leadership through sport. His career spans leadership roles at top bilingual institutions including YK Pao School, also in Shanghai, where he played a pivotal role in successful CIS/WASC accreditations and launched extensive extracurricular and competitive sports programs. With a background in international sports marketing and Olympic training, Toby brings a unique global perspective to education—fusing character development, intercultural leadership, and holistic learning. Toby holds a BSc in Sport, a PGCE, and is pursuing an MA in Educational Leadership and Management. He is passionate about building character through physical activity, inspiring young leaders, and fostering lifelong learning through meaningful sport education.
