Trecito Gansan is a dedicated Secondary Physical Education Teacher at the Canadian International School of Guangzhou. His journey in education began with a passion for coaching, which he discovered after transitioning from a student-athlete to a mentor. This experience ignited his commitment to helping students recognize their potential, both in athletics and in life. Holding an education degree and a permanent Alberta teaching license, Trecito initially taught elementary physical education before moving into secondary education. He currently teaches physical education, psychology, and sports performance, focusing on fostering student engagement, teamwork, respect, and lifelong learning. With extensive coaching experience at both the high school and middle school levels, as well as in volleyball clubs and camps, Trecito is deeply committed to athlete development. He dedicates countless hours to refining training sessions, ensuring his athletes are well-prepared for post-secondary opportunities while enhancing their physical literacy for lifelong application. As an international educator, Trecito values collaboration and continuous learning. He seeks to connect with fellow educators, exchange innovative ideas, and further develop his teaching practices, striving to make a lasting impact in the field of physical education.
