This workshop takes a deep dive into the Physical Activity Adventure Pack (PAAP)—a carefully designed, developmentally appropriate scheme of work that supports movement, exploration, and skill-building in early childhood. Grounded in child-centered, play-based pedagogy, PAAP provides a structured yet flexible approach to fostering physical literacy, confidence, and joy in movement from infancy through the early years.
Participants will explore the key principles behind PAAP, unpack its practical applications, and learn how to tailor activities to meet the needs of young children. Through hands-on demonstrations, discussion, and reflection, educators and caregivers will leave with a clear roadmap for implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate physical activity experiences that lay the foundation for lifelong movement skills.
