In this session, we explore the goals and principles of the United Nations Sustainable Development framework—alongside the Inner Development Goals—and examine how skills-based approaches in health education can support both. Through this lens, we’ll consider how health education increases individuals’ agency to lead purposeful, sustainable, and productive lives that benefit themselves, others, and the planet. Educators will leave with practical ideas and activities to integrate these concepts into their health education classrooms and broader school initiatives that promote sustainable development.
