Teachers know that using a textbook or packaged curriculum isn’t the right approach to health education, but keeping content current, relevant, and adaptable can feel overwhelming at times. In this session, we’ll look at curated unit and lesson plans that work across grade levels and give students meaningful opportunities to build and practice essential health literacy skills. We’ll also highlight simple UDL‑aligned strategies to design engaging, student‑centered lessons without reinventing the wheel. Participants will leave with practical, ready‑to‑use ideas that make the “H” feel clear, manageable, and aligned with what today’s students need.
