The workshop begins with a warm-up that explores skipping, coordination, and rhythm challenges that develop the balance, control, and timing needed for successful jumping.
Next, you will begin learning to land, focusing on how to time a two-foot landing to absorb force safely and stay balanced, before combining these skills to perform the long jump technique.
The workshop will finish with an introduction to the high jump, where you’ll work through a series of progression to teach a basic Fosbury Flop technique to students of all abilities..
