This workshop will provide an introduction to Nonlinear Pedagogy and its pedagogical principles. The approach, coupled with its pedagogical principles of representativeness, constraints manipulation, attentional focus, functional variability and information-movement coupling, aims to help learners become more independent in engaging with their learning environments and in regulating their learning experiences. This workshop’s emphasis will be on the use of Nonlinear Pedagogy’s pedagogical principles in designing lead-up and modified activities/games in PE. It will also focus on how PE teachers can organise practices and provide instructions and feedback to encourage students to explore, discover, and to be empowered in the teaching and learning of games in PE.
