Jess Kekelis teaches Physical Education & Health at Suzhou Singapore International School and has spent the last 16 years of her career in East Asia, including Taipei, Seoul, and Shanghai/Suzhou. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, she majored in Recreation and Sports Science and became a certified Recreation Therapist. Later, she completed her MA in Specialized Instruction at DePaul University, which has shaped her approach to fostering meaningful connections with all students through movement. Outside of school, she’s a sports enthusiast who loves pickleball, lifting, and flag football. Beyond sports, she enjoys reading, traveling, and painting.
