In an era where artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming how we access and understand health information, this workshop explores how educators can equip students with the skills to critically evaluate AI-generated content and use AI tools to support their physical and mental well-being. Participants will examine real-world applications of AI in health—from chatbots and symptom checkers to fitness trackers and mental health apps—and discuss strategies for teaching students to discern credible sources, identify bias, and make informed decisions. The session will also highlight classroom-ready activities that promote digital health literacy, ethical AI use, and student agency in managing their own health journeys.
