In this workshop, we will explore what social emotional learning (SEL) is, how it is embedded in PE standards, the challenge of teaching SEL in PE, and specific games, activities, and classroom management strategies that I use to teach SEL in my own classroom. Participants will walk away with many practical ideas that they can immediately implement in their own classrooms, without changing much of what they are already doing.
