Bridging Clinical Excellence and Whole-Child Wellness: The First Regional School Nurses Conference at UNIS Hanoi.

The PHASE AP Nurses Pre-Conference is a premier two-day professional learning experience designed for school nurses and wellbeing coaches in international and independent schools across Asia-Pacific. This pre-conference brings together clinical expertise and whole-child wellness to equip school nurses and coaches with the skills, knowledge, and networks they need to thrive in today’s complex school environments.

Two-Day Intensive Program

Day 1: The Clinical Day
Focus: High-stakes clinical skills and emergency preparedness.

• Minor-Serious Injury/Illness Management: Reviewing medical emergency protocols.
• Chronic Disease Management: Advanced protocols for diabetes, asthma, allergies, and seizures.
• Field Trauma & Stabilization: Hands-on training in splinting, strapping, and taping.
• Expert Instruction: Learn from ER Doctors and Nurses in real simulation environments.
• Evening: Networking Social with regional colleagues.

Day 2: The Whole Child
Focus: Mental health, neurodiversity, child safeguarding and systemic wellness leadership.

• Student Support: Learn practical strategies for ADHD, Anxiety, and ASD from learning support experts.
• Crisis Management: Intervention protocols and referral systems. Safety Plans, Child Safeguarding.
• Leadership: Collaborating on school-wide health policies and wellness initiatives.
• Action Planning: Building regional networks and shared resource hubs.
