AI gets sold to teachers as a time-saver. It is one, but only for work you could already do yourself with more time.
I’ll run one method live: voice feedback. No clipboard checklist. You watch the game and talk. AI sorts what you said by student and rubric strand, flags any kid or strand you missed, and compiles it into feedback you can use for assessment and report card comments.
In the practical, half the group plays or practices a skill while the other half observes and speaks feedback into Gemini, Claude, or ChatGPT against a sample rubric. Then they swap.
The last 20 minutes is a roundtable on how PE teachers are using AI in their schools. (Alternatively, I could present on additional ways I use AI such as ensuring standard alignment and unit and lesson plan refinement).
Teachers leave having run the method once, with steps to repeat it using their own rubric, and knowing what to check before they trust the output.
Note: Please bring a phone with Gemini, Claude, or ChatGPT installed and signed in.
