Ben is the author of ‘Wanna Teach PE’ a best-selling book published by PE Scholar in 2022. Ben has worked in a large secondary school in the North East of England as Head of Physical Education for 15 years. In addition, Ben has a number of additional roles and responsibilities: • Senior Leadership Team Member with a responsibility for Community Development. • NPQSL (National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership). • PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate Education) from Durham University. • BA Sports Studies & Physical Education from York St John University. • Over 20 years football coaching experience in the UK, United States and in Iraq as the assistant manager of Darfur United (Sudan) at the Viva World Cup in 2011. • PE Teaching Mentor for over 10 years as part of Northumbria, Durham and Sunderland Universities. • Member of the PE Scholar Team. • Development of @WannaTeachPE (Search on Twitter!)
