I retired from Flinders University at the end of 2020 where I was on the Casual Academic Teaching Staff. I taught a range of courses including Middle School Curriculum Studies in PE, PE and Sport and Primary studies in PE. Prior to that I was Head of PE and Sport at St John's Grammar which was a new school when I was appointed. In the 17 years that I was there I led the development of a successful PE and Sport program from scratch. Previously I had taught in a range of schools including Specialist Sport Schools and a school for students with special needs. I have presented at numerous conferences and workshops, including state and International Conferences. Recent awards that I have received include the Janet Harper Spirit of ACHPER Award 2020and the ACHPER President's Award in 2014 and 2017. I am currently Co-President of ACHPERSA and a Fellow of ACHPER.
