Dr. Tim Fletcher

Associate Professor in Physical Education, Brock University

Tim Fletcher is an associate professor in physical education pedagogy in the Department of Kinesiology at Brock University. His current research focuses on the development and examination of pedagogical approaches that support meaningful experiences in physical education. He is also involved in several collaborative projects using self-study of teacher education practice methodology. Tim is interested in the ways that reflecting on and in experience can inform how teachers learn to teach as well as how it can help his own learning about becoming a teacher educator. He has a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals, books and monographs, and is on the editorial boards of several physical education journals.
