This is a classroom-based workshop where participants can see how Meaningful PE can inform teachers’ decisions in how they plan lessons/units of work. The facilitator will use a pre-existing unit plan with a circus theme to demonstrate how teachers might have their plans reflect key principles of Meaningful PE, such as intentional use of reflective and democratic pedagogies, and specific instances of how and where teachers can embed the features of Meaningful PE into their planning. Teachers will have access to the plans and templates after the workshop for use in their teaching.
