Guim Valls Teruel is Co-founder and CEO of NTO Group and ESW Schoolwear Solutions, based in Vietnam. Working alongside textile engineers, designers, manufacturers and international schools, he has spent years exploring what happens on both sides of a sports garment: how it is designed and made, and how it ultimately performs in the hands of schools and athletes. His particular interest lies in the decisions we rarely see behind the finished garment: fibers, yarns, fabric construction, performance, durability, care and what happens at the end of its useful life. At PHASE, Guim brings this normally hidden world of textiles into the room, inviting educators to look differently at one of the most ordinary objects in school sport: the sports shirt.
