Joseph Grande is originally from Valencia, Spain. Always passionate about sports, Joseph got his Bachelor Degree in Physical Education and Sporst Science from the Catholic University of Valencia in 2014. Joseph obtained an Erasmus scholarship to do his teacher practices in The Ostrava International School, in the Czech Republic, where he was offered a full time position and worked in for the next 3 years as a PE teacher and an Activities Coordinator. Joseph finished his Master’s Degree in Physiology in the University of Barcelona in 2016. Shortly after, he was offered a position in HIS, and took the step to fulfill his dream of working in a real international environment. From HIS, Joseph has continued his studies in on-line form. He obtained a teacher certification from Harvard University in 2020, and he went on to obtain his Specialist in International Education degree in September of 2022. Joseph Grande is our Athletics Director, Head of the Physical Education Department, and secondary PE Teacher, as well as our Senior Volleyball Coach.
