Dr. Karan Bahadur Singh is an IB educator, programme leader, examiner, and professional learning facilitator with more than 15 years of experience in international education and physical education. He holds a PhD in Physical Education and specialises in Sports, Exercise and Health Science (SEHS), with a strong focus on inquiry-driven, experiential, and concept-based learning. As an IBEN Programme Leader and IBDP SEHS Senior Examiner and Team Leader, he contributes to international curriculum development, assessment, standardisation, and educator professional learning. He has facilitated more than 35 IB workshops for educators globally across online, virtual, and face-to-face settings. His professional interests include adolescent development, physical literacy, curriculum design, motivation, wellbeing, and creating inclusive learning experiences through physical activity and sport. Drawing on his experience as an educator, examiner, curriculum leader, and coach-facing professional learning facilitator, Dr. Singh is passionate about helping teachers and coaches translate developmental science into meaningful, practical learning experiences for young people
