I am Kui Ramos, Salt Lake Elementary School: IRA Wellness & Sports Co-Curricular Coordinator for over 25 years. My strengths are Character Education (TRIBES: worked with former Ms. America 2001, Ms Angela Baraquio) & Before/Afterschool Youth Sports/Physical Activity. My thesis was on Pedometers (Fitness For Life/PAP) & still collect Data on Fitness/PA at the Elementary level. I am also an Advisor with TAPE (Technology Association for Physical Education) Global, on the DOE Teacher Leader Collaborative (TLC) Elementary, & a HAHPERD Board Member. My Vision (IPDP) overall is to reverse the negative perception & attitude of Wellness Childhood/Youth Obesity, etc. advertised.
