Teachers are often ‘expected’ to be able to lead groups off-campus and yet are often given very little guidance or training to do so successfully and safely.
During the course of this day, participants will consider essential elements of trip planning and risk management, review previous incidents and procedures in their own school as well as have an opportunity to consider and practice the dynamics of group leadership.
Starting at our base in the hills of the New Territories participants will then spend the day walking in the hills and exploiting learning opportunities along the way. Upon their return, teachers will be more confident in leading and preparing any trip for groups of students and will return with ideas and templates for their own school to consider.
Outward Bound Hong Kong delivers transformative outdoor personal development courses for approximately 6000 students each year. Part of the Outward Bound International network, we are the only organisation in Asia to be accredited by the Association for Experiential Education.
