The internet has drastically changed how and what students have access to. This means that how we teach Health and Sex Education must evolve as well. An inclusive and engaging puberty education program is skill-based, focuses on emotional literacy, and encourages curiosity, despite the awkwardness of it all. This workshop will overview setting classroom ground rules, designing student-centered learning activities, answering student questions, and will dig deep into the ‘why’ behind keeping all genders together for puberty education.
