Student Session
This inspirational session is open to students from schools with a paying educator. Registration links available in conference app once you register.
15 September 2021 (Wednesday) - 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM (GMT+8) |
During the session, we will unpack how a psychologically safe environment is connected to a learning perspective. We will explore strategies to promote students as active learners with opportunities to lead their own learning. We will look at resilience: What is resilience, why is it so important to lead a positive life, and how can seven resilience traits build resilience in our students? We will focus on the role of learning goals and learning perspectives in the classroom.
How setting learning goals can help learners demonstrate understanding, competencies, knowledge, dispositions, and values that will allow them to become responsible and successful citizens. How emphasising on the learning perspectives in our classroom can translate into meaningful learning which can be extended when learners explore unfamiliar situations, consider a range of perspectives, and take informed risks. Mistakes are seen as opportunities for learning.
As a visitor you can view up to two presentations per month after that you will be required to subscribe to PHASE
