This practical, on-court workshop demonstrates how to transform volleyball instruction using the Play with Purpose framework. This interactive practical session guides delegates through a sequence of modified, small-sided games designed to develop both technical execution and tactical awareness simultaneously. Instead of teaching skills in isolation, participants will experience how to embed the development of fundamental movement patterns – such as tracking the ball, body positioning, and court communication – directly into purposeful play. Delegates will explore how to use intentional game design, conditions/constraint manipulation, and strategic questioning to guide students toward their development of volleyball game sense. A curriculum model of sequential volleyball game design from Grade 4 to 12 will be modelled. Come prepared to move, play, and discover.
