She specializes in training for teacher grooming, life skills, personality development, holistic health, meditation, mindfulness, yoga, communication skills, career guidance, program assessment, and curriculum development in Physical and Health Education. She is highly experienced at offering strong extracurricular after-school and summer programs for holistic development. Dr. Dewan has 25 years of rich experience as an educator and director of the after-school and summer programs at American Embassy School (AES) in New Delhi. She has taught at Delhi University as well. As an advisor to Khaitan Public school, and Khaitan World school, Dr.Dewan has restructured their PE and Health programs and imparted trainings to their faculty for teaching according to International standards. She has a Doctorate in Philosophy in Physical Education from Jamia Millia Islamia University. She holds a Master’s of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies from State University of New York, USA. She holds “Leadership and team Dynamics” certification from Principal training center, Florida, USA. Her academic achievements include gold medals for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs in Physical Education from Delhi University. Dr.Dewan is the first Indian to be an international consultant for the Special Olympics. U.S.A. She is creating global curriculums in inclusive education, fitness, health and physical education, and will conduct training for global leads. Dr. Dewan has conducted multiple presentations and trainings at National and International levels in India, Oman, Dubai, Singapore, UK, USA, Mexico and Bangkok, both online and offline. She is certified by Patanjali International Yoga Foundation, Rishikesh,Yoga Alliance Registered for the 200 hours Yoga teacher training course. Presented Yoga and meditation workshops for Teachers at Fun PE Guy, Vancouver, USA., South Dakota State University, Hindu Temple of Siouxland, U.S.A, India Mexico foundation. She has been a Forensics coach at an international level for public speaking competitions. Dr. Dewan is passionate about learning and has trained diverse cultures of 60+ countries.
