The focus of equity and inclusion in education is that we are able to cater to the needs of ALL our student learners. As we know, learning is a continuum, and we, as educators, must help ALL students develop themselves. Connecting with our students, and developing a positive culture of learning, while building a relationship of trust and understanding as the foundation for their holistic development will be discussed. Strategies for developing respect, treating everyone equally, and accepting differences with tolerance will be shared to become compassionate human beings The session will be helpful for students both with and without IDD. After all, we are all parts of a whole!
