Tim Dudnyk
With over 12 years of experience in American football as both a player and coach, I have built my career around leadership, athletic development, and education. A 4-time China National Champion, I have played and coached internationally across Ukraine and China, leading practices, developing playbooks, organizing events, and helping athletes grow both on and off the field. My coaching experience spans youth, school, and competitive programs, with a strong focus on building team culture, discipline, and confidence. Alongside my football career, I have worked as a Physical Education teacher for the past 7 years in international schools across China, teaching students from primary through high school levels. I am experienced with AP, IGCSE, and IB curricula, and specialize in creating engaging, inclusive, and student-centered PE programs that encourage lifelong participation in sport and fitness. Currently working at Shanghai Foreign Language School, I teach High School PE while coaching championship-winning American football and volleyball teams. Previously, I worked at Wycombe Abbey School as Upper School PE Teacher and Head of Flag Football, where I organized school leagues, developed inter-house competitions, and supported boarding students through pastoral care and mentorship. I also served as Head of PE at Shanghai Thomas School, leading curriculum development and managing a team of PE teachers. Passionate about youth development, coaching, and education, I strive to create positive environments where students and athletes can develop confidence, resilience, teamwork, and a genuine love for physical activity. My experience combines competitive sports, international education, curriculum design, and leadership, allowing me to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and help them reach their full potential.
