Timothy Yu is a High School Health and Physical Education Teacher at Korea International School Jeju, where he has worked for nine years. In that time, he has had successful seasons coaching boys' and girls' volleyball teams across all divisions and co-founded a multi-school volleyball club on Jeju Island. A former athlete himself, Tim now focuses on promoting volleyball as a lifelong endeavor for physical activity and social connection. In the classroom, he utilizes the Meaningful PE framework to optimize student engagement. Outside of the classroom, his current work centers around growing the game of volleyball and making it more accessible to all.
