Education has notoriously privileged those that identify as White. Physical education as a discipline has exemplified this through structural advantages evidenced through curriculum and instructional planning and delivery. As international educators are often guests in host countries, it is integral for those pursuing teaching in overseas settings to understand the need to be anti-racist for an equitable education for all young people. This presentation will highlight specifically what critical whiteness studies is, how whiteness is perpetuated through our actions, and how to work towards antiracist practice as an international physical educator.
