The joy of learning through engagement is a key factor in student satisfaction in PE. As adults, we still look forward to ‘game-time’ where we pit our skills against others.
The sharing will focus on how we integrate game-time through various competition formats as teaching strategies to enhance the fun and excitement, the intensity, experience and the competencies as it complements various PE pedagogies like GCA and SEP. We will experience hands-on up to 7 types of formats such as the ‘King of the Hill, ‘the Pyramid’, the ‘Swiss Circuit’ and more and explore how these competitions are integrated into lessons at various stages of the module to improve engagement and competency development.
