This interactive talk will encourage participants to reflect on our social identities and how these influence our decisions in the classroom and beyond. Understanding the identity factors that shape our professional choices will help us better recognize the ways we show up for students, colleagues and communities. Sherri will share her own relational standards which guide her practice as an educator. Participants can look forward to an opportunity to engage with colleagues as we explore approaches to relationship building in our respective contexts.
