Schools today have more to offer in Physical Activity and Wellness than just Physical Education. Every student deserves to be guided to develop their own Physical Literacy and richness in movement and life and as educators of movement it is our roles to help students find their passions and foster them. In this session Andy Hair will share his vision and work in creating a community approach to Physical Literacy and will share the resources that he uses before and after school, at recess breaks, during class times (with other teachers in their own classes), during meets and throughout the wider community. You will be surprised how many of these ideas already exist in your school. One of the most important take aways from this session will be a Physical Health Audit you can do in your own school to measure your outcomes and goals moving forward.
