Physical Education assists students in acquiring the knowledge and skills that will enable them to engage in lifelong health and physical activity. An inclusive environment ensures that every student will have an equal opportunity to meaningfully participate and succeed in these learning experiences with peers. As building a culture of support and acceptance is our responsibility as educators, in this presentation I will examine some of the biases inherent in physical education and identify strategies that can promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
