Closing Inspirational Speaker

Rowan is an elite athlete who was educated at an international school in Hong Kong (KGV). He will talk about his passion for sport and fitness and the role that all PE educators have to inspiring the ‘iphone generation’ to get outdoors!

  • Represented Hong Kong in 15s and 7s rugby since 2003.
  • Captained Hong Kong 7s from 2011-2013
  • This year voted joint best player to represent Hong Kong in 7’s alongside Keith Robertson
  • 2 time Asian Games Silver Medallist and East Asian Games Silver Medallist in Rugby Sevens
  • Represented the invitation team the Barbarians vs. England at Twickenham
  • Went to Beacon Hill School and KGV in Hong Kong
  • Qualified solicitor in Hong Kong practicing part time, but currently a full time rugby professional with Hong Kong Rugby Union and Hong Kong Sports Institute, attempting to qualify for the Olympics in Rio 2016.
