In this workshop, we’ll apply that same idea to AI. Together, we’ll explore how emerging technologies are expanding our vision for wellbeing, from new tools for physical health to possibilities like interspecies communication.
In this session, we will introduce net play and serving (short serve & high serve).
This session will explore why SEL is essential in elementary PE and how it supports the development of the whole child, both inside and outside the gym.
The first 20 minutes will be in a classroom to introduce our training methodology and what we will be doing on the pitch next. We will also explain why we think it is very important to "train the trainer", and introduce our way of doing it, with the whole process from training, practice, assessment and certification.
The session will conclude with hands-on examples, games, and activities that bring these principles to life and can be immediately adapted for use in participants' own settings.
In this session, we’ll be exploring resources and techniques to help promote body positivity in the classroom and on the field, while teaching students to view media messages with a critical eye.
The joy of learning through engagement is a key factor in student satisfaction in PE. As adults, we still look forward to ‘game-time’ where we pit our skills against others.
The presentation will be an interactive presentation and discusses how we can provide equitable opportunities for all our students in our Physical and Health Education classes.
Participants will learn about the eight factors of the 4C Model of Mental Toughness and how a suite of psychometric assessments can be used to help assess, select and develop student athletes.
