This presentation will provide teachers with a dynamic new approach to teaching movement and play by integrating storylines, music, specialized equipment, and role play into a fully gamified movement and character building program called Super Moverz.

Participants will learn the basic skill sets to ice hockey. Each participant will walk away with a foundation of a learn to skate program & learn to play program.

In this workshop, participants will find out how teachers can use ready-to-use nature-based physical activities with their students in natural spaces found on or close to their school.

Come along and learn snapshots of four diverse dance styles (Greek, Line, Disco, and Partner Swing). Identify distinctive signature moves and immerse yourself in the celebration of movement! Take ideas from these dances to inspire your own classes and choreography.

Through structured dialogue and deep listening we'll apply ourselves to the task of surfacing our unique approaches and how they help us serve our diverse students and school communities.

The content of this session is founded on direct, practical experience gathered over several years while establishing the sports and recreation program at a Sino-American institution.

Presentation attendees will discover how to utilize Concept-Based learning in their classrooms through model units, interactive activities, and inquiry.
